Observability at Tigris Data

Tigris is a globally distributed S3 compatible object storage, where buckets are no longer tied to a region. 

Metrics are at the core of Tigris data for a variety of reasons, we use our metrics as a source of truth for billing data, as well as we use our observability stack to identify and eliminate performance bottlenecks before they become user visible. In this talk, we will talk about our observability journey, and how we are using metrics, logs and traces today.
