Infrastructure as Code 3 Ways

Audience:
Topic:

Infrastructure-as-Code, as its name implies, allows engineers to provision infrastructure resources through code, thereby providing a safe, consistent, and repeatable process. But as IaC has continued to grow in popularity, so too have the myriad tools available to enable it.

In this talk, Adriana and Ana will examine three different open source IaC tools that work very differently: Pulumi, Crossplane, and OpenTofu. They will:

  • Provide a brief overview of each tool
  • Provide a demonstration of each tool
  • Discuss each tool’s pros and cons

This talk will benefit DevOps, SRE, and Platform Engineering practitioners, by helping them better understand some of the different types of IaC tools available, along with their  capabilities, to help them choose a tool that best suits their needs.
