How LA Metro is using Open Data to prepare for the 2028 Olympics and Paralympics

What do we need to do to achieve the goal of making 2028 a no-car Olympics & Paralympics?  While GTFS-static and GTFS-realtime have been widely adopted as transit data standards for several years now, they are from complete. Gaps exist in the spec and barriers to adoption exist for data propducers and consumers alike.  What's trending in the world of transit data for 2025, and who is working filling the gaps?

With the Olympic & Paralympic Games coming up, LA has been presented with an incredible chance to level up its transit data!  What are some of hte priorities that have been identified, and how is LA Metro working on creating the data?
