Georg's mission in life is to make open source more professional in its use of community metrics and analytics. As an Open Source Strategist, Georg co-founded the Linux Foundation CHAOSS Project to advance analytics and metrics for open source project health. Georg has 14 years experience as an active contributor to several open source projects and has presented on open source topics at 18+ conferences. Georg has an MBA and a Ph.D. in Information Technology. As the Director of Sales at Bitergia, Georg helps organizations and communities with adopting open source metrics and technology. In his spare time, Georg enjoys reading fiction and hot-air ballooning.
