Eliminating Redis Snapshot Memory Overhead

Through a combination of new data structures, new interfaces to existing data structures, new implementations of APIs, and a complete update of the Redis snapshotting subsystem, we have managed to more or less eliminate the memory overhead associated with high-throughput Redis instances during snapshot conditions. We may not cover all of these modificiations (depending on the time slot duration), but we will at least cover the general technology overview, and provide benchmarks, links to open source tools, and more.
