Cloud Native Infrastructure
Many companies try to treat the cloud as an extension of their existing data centers or try to use the resources the same way as buying physical servers. That model has proven time and time again to be less efficient and more expensive than taking advantages of the benefits and mitigating the limitations of cloud providers. In this talk Justin will review the patterns to be successful no matter if you're running in an on-prem cloud or in a public cloud provider. Through the book he co-authored "Cloud Native Infrastructure" and his involvement with the CNCF and Kubernetes communities he has been able to find practices that create successful cloud native infrastructure. He will share a summary of the findings and actions you should take to be successful.
