Peter vanHardenberg

Peter was a co-founding member of the Heroku Postgres team, where he helped to build a service that run something like a million PostgreSQL databases. He travels the world speaking mostly on scaling start-ups, and PostgreSQL. Before joining the Heroku team, he worked as an oceanographer, a game developer, and in media player development. He lives in San Francisco, California and grew up in British Columbia, Canada.
