David Fligor

David Fligor is a co-founder and partner at the law firm of Progress LLP in Palo Alto, California. David regularly helps clients resolve intellectual property and contract disputes and advises clients on intellectual property ownership, licensing, compliance and enforcement. In 2016, David led an enforcement effort for the author of a GPLv2-licensed program against an embedded device manufacturer that had failed to comply with GPLv2 license conditions. The effort successfully achieved the client’s goals without the filing of a legal action. For a decade prior to starting Progress LLP, David worked as an in house lawyer, corporate strategist and licensing executive at public technology companies in Silicon Valley, and started his career at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati.
