Open Source Robotics Using Cylon.js, Intel Edison, & Sphero
Topic:
The next generation of robotic solutions are being built already, and they are using open source. Programming languages such as JavaScript can help both get it done, and make it fun. In this hands-on workshop, you will build a full stack robotic application using the powerful JavaScript robotics framework Cylon.js (http://cylonjs.com), along with the Intel Edison single board Linux computer & Sphero robot. From web-based user interfaces, to the wiring up of circuits, and from the Human-Machine Interactions (HMI) to the JavaScript code that makes the robot move, this workshop will take you from zero to end-to-end robotic system in only 2 hours.
