Our Open Source Legal Training program is designed to provide legal education to practicing attorneys and law students who seek education on open source legal issues. Our presentations include topics such as Open Source Licensing & Compliance, Traditional Copyright Law, Patents/Open Patents, etc. The presentations are intended to ensure in-depth understanding of the subject matter. Open Source is relevant to all attorneys working either in-house or at a law firm. This is because Open Source has become an instrumental part of technological development. Thus, both outside and in-house counsel would be benefited from understanding the legal implications that accompany these licenses. The event will provide instruction on these topics to help attorneys gain knowledge in the subject matter.
To participate in this program, please select the Open Source Legal Training option during registration.
