Manufacturing the Open Desktop Computer

Integrated with Pop!_OS, a GNOME-based distro, this desktop features open-sourced materials inside and out. In this talk, we share the struggles of building an open computer and why open source hardware is important for an innovative future. The talk features  details around manufacturing a powerful desktop computer from the inital design, to fabrication to the final build, and the lessons we've learned along the way. We'll take the audience through a virtual tour of our factory in Denver, where the magic of Thelio comes together. In the end, we prove that you don’t have to compromise aesthetics, quality, and performance for freedom.
