At Datadog we handle trillions of metrics per day. PostgreSQL serves as the backbone of our datastore, but keeping it performant and resilient requires a well-thought architecture and careful monitoring. In this session I'll share how Datadog has scaled PostgreSQL; our architecture and strategy; and how we monitor PostgreSQL to ensure that it stays available and performant.
