Intro to Music Making with GNU/Linux

Music making on GNU/Linux feels different from other OS's. The Unix principle is at work with JACK providing ways to interface many disparate programs. Although music-focused programming languages exist like PureData, C-Sound, and others, this talk will focus on the core setup and GUI options for basic music making. The presentation will include live demonstrations of software along with general intro to resources and concepts.
