He was an consultant for several mid-size companies and has been an Open Source user and advocate since 1998. He has used Open Source software extensively in his own work and studies for his MBA.
Abstract:
This presentation is an overview of important applications (Firefox, Open Office, Inkscape, Gimp) that are commonly used in an educational environment. I'll also discuss Firefox security & plug-ins. I'll cover running Windows within Mac OS X using the Virtual Box virtual machine application.
