FOSS Mentoring

Many free and open source projects have had success with mentoring programs used to educate people in how to participate in their particular project.   To support these great efforts, SCALE is adding another event to the already impressive list of Friday activities.  The "FOSS Mentoring" event will be held at SCALE 10x on Friday, January 20, beginning at 9 a.m.This  will be an opportunity to hear about various mentoring programs that are already in place, such as Google's Summer of Code and the mentoring programs organized by both the GNOME & KDE projects.  If you are interested in becoming a mentor for a project, in being mentored, or looking to establish a mentoring program for your project, then this is the event to attend!
