Leveraging PrestoDB for data success

Data is core to your business. You can have the most exciting application or feature set, but if you can’t store your data and retrieve it quickly, you start to lag. In this talk, I’ll introduce you to the PrestoDB project already used by Meta, Uber, and IBM to retrieve data from multiple sources, like PostgreSQL, Redis, MariaDB, and many others, in a unified platform. 

I’ll tell the story of an organization that grows organically and what happens if they leverage Presto and, unfortunately, if not. With a little bit of fun and storytelling, you’ll see where your organization is in this narrative and see if Presto will help you leapfrog your competitors.
