LOT Network

The LOT Network (short for License on Transfer) is a non-profit
community of companies and organizations committed to protecting
themselves long-term against patent trolls and their patent lawsuits.

LOT Network members comprise a diverse community of dedicated
corporate and non-profit citizens including Red Hat, GitHub, the
Wikimedia Foundation, GoPro, and Google. Network members partner with
other like-minded entities to create a community of peers who seek to
reduce risk. All members -- including those small companies and
startups that could otherwise be wiped out by a single patent-troll
lawsuit -- are equal members of the LOT Network.
