Starting Rust from a Scripting Background

If you come from Python, JavaScript, or another scripting language, the new systems programming language Rust may seem intimidating. The learning curve is steep, but never fear! This talk will teach you the basics of Rust, and help you ask the right questions as you continue to explore Rust after the conference. If you've managed memory in C or C++, some of these concepts will be review. Intrepid novices learning Rust as their first programming language are welcome to attend, and pick up the basics as you go.
