Do you have something you're passionate about? Do you think you can share it at SCALE in only 5 minutes? Are you up for the pressure of having your slides change automatically? If the answer to all of these questions is yes, then an UpSCALE talk might be for you!
The UpSCALE talks are held in the style of the Ignite presentations made popular by various O'Reilly sponsored events. Participants are given five minutes to speak on a subject accompanied by 20 automatically-advanced slides, making this a fast paced, fun event for participants and audience.
If you're interested in submitting an UpSCALE talk for consideration, please submit the talk using the SCALE CFP system (https://www.socallinuxexpo.org/cfp) and tag the talk with the UpSCALE topic. UpSCALE submissions should be submitted along with 20 slides in ODP format by February 13th, 2015.
Speakers will be notified by February 16th at the latest. The UpSCALE talks will take place on Friday the 20th at 8pm in the La Jolla room.
